Pros

As someone who has worked with many companies in my career, Ephox stands out as being above the rest. Great products, exciting growth (60%+ yearly growth) and a great CEO who started Ephox out of his basement in Brisbane, Australia and you have success!

Cons

Being a start-up there are always unknowns, but I would prefer them to the "work in a cube" mentality of large firms.

Pros

I had been here more than half a year and would say that Ephox is a very nice and cool company to work for. It’s kinda interesting that although it had been around for awhile now (since 1999) it feels very young, open and relax (I think it may have something to do with the Aussie influence as a large part of the team are from Australia). That being said the energies are very focus, dynamic, and could be intense as much as you want to drive it … without the unnecessary noise. I can involve in pretty much at all levels or step over and chat to the CEO any time. Here, one can get in the trenches and be part of a global solution/movement while having a team supporting you. Kudos: The company encourages health and fitness: there are provided daily snacks, fruits, gourmet coffee, soda … and lunch for group run/walk every Tues/Thurs. It is great that it is located near the park trail. Since started here I dropped 10 pounds with another 10 pounds goal in near future. Our CEO is a marathon runner so the bar is kinda high :) BTW, There’s work from home policy and everyone is not required to work on Sat or Sunday :) Which is a good thing for a start-up-feel company.

Cons

The company has been growing and evolving fast while interfacing with lots of technologies. This means there are lots of new processes and documentation need to be put in place. If the team member is not proactive he/she may not be caught up with many changes. This is one area which applies to any start-up.
