Pros

Timms has a really supportive and friendly environment with plenty of opportunity for progression and professional development at various levels. I have been well supported by the management team in respect of the qualifications that I have decided to undertake whilst working for the firm and my progression with the firm. Timms has an open door approach where any issues are listened to and addressed with sensitivity and a proactive approach. The staff are all friendly and there is a good atmosphere in each office.

Cons

I don't have any 'cons' as I feel well supported and happy in my role. I know that if I ever did have any issues then I can speak to someone in the team and that my concerns will be heard and acted on.

Pros

Leaving work at the end of the day. The colleagues you work with.

Cons

The positive reviews on here have surely got to be fake? Or I imagine that staff have probably been given some sort of incentive to post the reviews. Do not accept a job offer here , you will regret it. The senior management team are toxic bullies who only care about themselves, they do not care about anyone or their staff and they parade around pretending it’s an amazing place to work. The pay is absolutely awful, and there is no structure to who gets paid what. By the way Timms, people talk about there salaries and it’s clear you don’t pay people the same! They don’t offer pay rises each year in line with inflation and they think they can get away with paying people the bare minimum because they know most are too scared to ask for more money, or they won’t want to cause a scene. The place is so toxic and seemed to be getting worse. Different people have different rules, the favourites get away with anything and are not subject to the same scrutiny as others. There is no flexibility, at all. 1 minute late to work? Forget about it, you may as well have committed a crime! You’d probably be expected to make the time back if you had to attend your own child’s funeral. Working from home is frowned upon, except for some people who are allowed (one rule for one, one rule for another) …. There is absolutely no understanding or empathy from the management team, it’s all about the business and what’s best for them , I don’t even think they would p*** on you if you were on fire. The staff turnover is very high , and the senior management team fire people whenever they want if it suits them. The place is filled with secrets and lies. There is a clear hierarchy in place too. I could go on and on about why you shouldn’t work here but it’s going to get boring. Long story short , stay where you are or look else where , you will seriously regret it if you come here. The grass definitely isn’t greener. Oh and the backstabbing and two faced managers who don’t have your back and don’t look out for you? Watch out for them.
