Pros

Autonomy over your days/months, decent pay

Cons

Manager micromanages everything, even your mileage/expense reports, which causes delays in your pay. Owners have their hand on every aspect of the business & are out of touch with reality. This is a family company - no one will advance if they're not in the "club". Expectations regarding performance are inflated, and there is no training at all. You're thrown out to the wolves.

Pros

Decent part-time pay, set your own schedule to a point

Cons

Never get raises, supervisor nit-picky and continuous rude, condescending treatment, no HR to intervene, owners have hands-off approach to supervisor behavior; put up with the treatment or leave, hard work doesn't pay off here.

Pros

Get to work with some great retail customers out in the field. You are given some autonomy over your schedule.

Cons

Owner of the brokerage has no clue how to manage his employees. Very high turnover during the time I have been there mainly due to how people are treated and managed. Timmons has been very lucky to have had some seasoned sales veterans working for them, however, that does not seem to manner as the same issues are pounded into our skull at every monthly meeting as if we just got out of business school! No room for advancement, unless you are related to the owner, and no raises given! I was hired for a sales position, which turned into anything but that! They have no concept of work day planning and conduct business in a knee jerk fashion continuously. This has been the most stressful job experience ever and I have been in the work force a long time!
