Fired on my birthday for being injured - Inspector Timken Employee Review

Grease everywhere. Ordered to do things I did not feel safe doing. I had to climb a ladder covered in grease and fell. When I fell I started bleeding terribly. Went to the Dr and the er multiple times. Even with medical notes, they fired me on my birthday for missing too much work. I was literally walking to the nurse to turn in paperwork for short term disability and fmla, when they pulled me into the office to fire me. But as I was escorted off the premises I was told I would be able to apply to be hired back once I got "all that sorted". I ended up having a hysterectomy a month later. When I fell I jostled a uterine fibroid and was caring me to bleed out.
