Pros

I have worked for Timeout Children's Homes Ltd for over 10 years. Over the years in my role, I have gained so much experience, skills, training and support from my manager and the Senior Management Team, which still continues daily. The care that Timeout provide to the children is exceptional. Timeout offer their Therapeutic Carers and Senior Therapeutic Carers support, training and career progression. I would recommend Timeout Children's Homes Ltd to anyone who wants to change a child's life. Timeout is a fantastic place to work and I feel very much part of the Timeout family. I feel very secure in my job and see myself being part of the team for many years to come.

Cons

I've nothing negative to say.

Cons

- Occasionally, you may be asked to cover at an unfamiliar home on short notice, which can be challenging but offers an opportunity to support children across the company. - Some children’s behaviours can be challenging to manage due to their trauma, but the Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training equips you to handle these situations effectively. - Staff turnover can be an issue, which impacts team stability at times.

Cons

Family run business that profits from children in care. Some senior decision makers are inexperienced and their expectations are unfair and unrealistic. They do not understand the realities of the work. Heavy handed use of disciplinary processes.
