Pros

I worked for timeout for nearly 10 years. I saw so many changes all for the better for staff and young people they care for. My time there was brilliant and I was made like part of the furniture. Not only do this company do there best, to give young people the best possible up bring they can. They do the same for the staff. If staff members invest there time, effort and enthusiasm to work Timeout will do the same. Timeout are all about developing there staff into higher rolls in the company. I left the company and it was the hardest decision of my life. But I was fully supported in my move away from timeout and timeout gave me the foundations to get a career outside of the company (not many places would do that) I read reviews on here and its clear to see that people don't pull in with the Ethos of this company and are too busy trying to pick holes in it any way they can. I owe a lot to Timeout and management there and it always be a pleasure in saying I was part of there team.

Cons

Cant really think of any other than I was promised a meal out for decorating a bedroom and im still waiting hahaha

- Occasionally, you may be asked to cover at an unfamiliar home on short notice, which can be challenging but offers an opportunity to support children across the company. - Some children’s behaviours can be challenging to manage due to their trauma, but the Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training equips you to handle these situations effectively. - Staff turnover can be an issue, which impacts team stability at times.

Family run business that profits from children in care. Some senior decision makers are inexperienced and their expectations are unfair and unrealistic. They do not understand the realities of the work. Heavy handed use of disciplinary processes.
