Pros
The people who work there are very cool. There is a massive level of camaraderie. I suppose it’s easy to bond over how poorly they are being treated and paid.
Cons
Too many cons to list. 1. The CEO is a totally psycho and sociopath. 2. The HR is run by the co-owner and CEO’s wife. 3. The upper management completely ignores the experience and expertise of the employees. Even if they come from very impressive backgrounds. 4. The company basically hemorrhages money by taking on jobs they cannot handle and planning them poorly. When the jobs go bad, it’s often blamed on the employees. 5. The upper management lied blatantly to the employees by stating a profit share when the company turns a profit. They boasted a record high and all they gave the employees was company branded travel mugs. 6. Never once gave a Christmas bonus while simultaneously flaunting expensive vacations, beach club memberships, expensive summer camps for sailing as well as fancy sports cars. Disgusting… 7. They tried to go out of their way to look for minority hires to get tax breaks to look more inclusive. They plainly asked me if I had and gay or POC friends who are looking for work. 8. They used my veterinarian status for a $5000 tax break that they cashed in on and never even shared a penny with me. (The veteran they used for the break) again, disgusting. They even made me work on Veterans Day twice.
