Great Opportunities exist if you can play the game.
Cons
You'll get rich if you participate in the IPO, but what will it really be worth if the company is mediocre. I never received any career training or development advice. I tried to implement some mentorship initiatives that were rejected by upper management. This tells me that the little people are simply fulfilling roles to bring the company to IPO and if someone quits, they will simply be replaced. No value to those who deliver the results.
