Pros

Really great office staff, competent team of engineers and consultants, well meaning support personnel who went out of their way to help me, and a client who really did need their help. A sound business model, high-quality consultants out front, backed up by a low-cost back office in China servicing the oil and gas data management industry.

Cons

This company is THE example of corporate leadership failure, someone should write a book. There is no corporate culture, values to play lip service only, no definition of what the company actually does, no strategic planning, no personnel reviews, no incentives, limited benefits, and a CEO who's been asleep at the wheel since 2007. I've seen the pitch up close and I know what goes on in the back, there is nothing more here than smoke and mirrors. There is no special technology, processes, or technical expertise that you can't get anywhere else for a little more money and a lot more quality. They're a consulting company with no consultants, a data management company with no data managers, a data analytics company with one part time guy, and a staffing company without any staff. The people here deserve better, you deserve better, find a job somewhere else.

Pros

Challenging Projects for sure. Compensation was most reasonable at first assignment w/ initial living 2nd home expenses covered 100%, great while lasted. They get you in the door with big operators in expensive cost of living cities with BIG DATA problem challenges. Careful what you ask for.

Cons

Beware of apparent "start-up mega majors" who expect to turn straw into gold and consultants to walk on water. Assigned kindergarten client office culture difficult for any normal humans to succeed. Consultants treated like second-rate employees and despised by co-workers envious of the higher rate for breaking rocks for the Nords. Good luck there pal. Consultants over-exploited to ridiculously impracticle expectations. What do you do to relieve work stress LOL.
