Pros

The philosophy and design of this company, the way they work and how they show up embodies what it means when an organization exisits to serve its people and clients. The focus of roles over titles and the flexibility of staffing and assigning work to best serve the needs of the clients seperates TiER1 from the market TiER1 takes the nuances and compexities of work/life balance very seriously AND balances this with the realities of operating a high performing and profitable business Leadership breathes life into what it means to be a "strengths" based organization TiER1 is living proof that leading with love doesn't mean not having difficult performance conversations or simply being nice to everyone... It does mean having high expectations of self and others, treating each other with kindness and respect and being wildly open and comfortable with change and evolution to best serve its people and those they serve...

Cons

Sometimes the relaxed and informal work environment, either in the office or when we show up, can be misinterpreted by some as not being serious... this is not the case! TiER1 is an authentically human place... it takes the work they do and who they do it for/with VERY seriously - not really a con perhaps more a call out The world of work needs more TiER1. Healthcare needs more TiER1. Again - perhaps not a con

Pros

It was a joy working at Tier 1. Everyone is so warm and eager to share/teach/learn.

Cons

Pay isn't competitive. Otherwise I would totally have been on board!

Pros

Decent benefits (4 weeks PTO, floating holidays), some flexibility to your work day, remote position (as long as you're not in one of their "core" locations, it was a hybrid schedule then).

Cons

Constant acquisitions that are obviously meant to eliminate competition by absorbing competition and making their team redundant; little to no training provided when your job description completely changes overnight; extremely high expectations for billable hours (87.5%) even when company is in the red and not bringing in enough work; unspoken expectation that you're available at all hours; chronic lack of structure for project teams; zero patience or support for employees experiencing hardship; taking advantage of floating holidays to observe non-Christian holidays viewed as an inconvenience to project schedules; lots of playing favorite; many people at c-suite level that have completely made up jobs that perform no actual work while getting paid extremely well; forced use of AI
