Pros

ThriveCart has been a really good place to work. The team is super supportive, and you can tell the company actually cares about its employees. Management listens, and you don’t feel like you’re just another number. The work environment is flexible, which makes a big difference, especially when balancing life outside of work. I also like that there’s always something new to learn, so it doesn’t feel repetitive. Everyone communicates well, and it’s easy to ask for help when you need it.

Cons

It can get pretty busy at times, especially during peak periods, so the workload can feel a bit heavy. Some customer issues can also be a bit tricky and take time to resolve. But overall, it’s nothing out of the ordinary for a support role, and the team helps each other out when things get hectic.

Pros

Some colleagues are nice, but they’re desperately trying to get out of this place which makes for a strange environment.

Cons

True story: Imagine you started a few weeks ago, you’re already working on several projects including with external partners. You have a good rapport with your supervisor who is a C-Suite leader. One morning, a few days before BFCM, your Slack stops working and you realize you’re logged out of everything. You reach out to your manager who has no idea what’s going on. The manager reaches out to the CEO who explains that you’ve been fired (without your manager knowing about it or getting to weigh in on it). Fast forward a couple months, and the C-Suite leader got fired as well. What it comes down to, mainly, is that the CEO needs to have his fingers in everything. Despite no experience as a tech startup CEO, he believes he knows everything better than anyone else, which creates a toxic atmosphere. Avoid at all costs. I’ve also seen with my own eyes (and heard from ex-employees) that ThriveCart pays lawyers to get negative reviews taken down. So we’ll see how long this one will last.

Pros

Product can help creators build their businesses.

Cons

This is NOT a company that cares about its people at all. PE fund wants to make money. That's it. Benefits are poor and the culture is chaotic.
