Pros

There are good things about Thrive. 1. Cool environment 2. Cool people 3. You can make good money, sort of 4. The system works, clients do have their businesses and their lives improve. But you are not a client. 5. Great work schedule, sometimes

Cons

1. Don’t trust reviews. Management has employees and clients leave reviews on Glassdoor, and on google, and on Facebook, for brownie points. You can say no, but management will find someone to fill your position pretty soon. 2. There is an unspoken rule at thrive that you don’t ask what you are going to get paid for doing something. There are several times people have been called and asked to work for free over the weekends or late at night or super early in the morning. You can say no, but management will find someone to fill your position pretty soon. 3. It’s a call center. 4. Everything that is not part of the call center is designed like a factory system. You are no one, with no opinion, just do your job and go home, speak out and management becomes very cold to you. 4. Management loves hiring young, impressionable people who don’t know how the world really works yet. 5. It operates very similar to a cult. That might seem like strong language, but the bosses have a meeting with a message every week and encourage the workers to start hanging out with the people in the office more and to get rid of friends and family who do not think the same way they do. 6. Management encourages you to buy their books and leave a review prior to you reading it. If you say no they are relentless about asking. 7. It’s a lot of smoke and mirrors. They create artificial hype on a lot of things with the hope that people will get excited and create real hype. It’s a smart move, just shady in some cases.

Deep Thought: Should terrible employees who get fired be allowed to write reviews? As the founder of several successful companies I allow all candidates to shadow and to meet members of "The Cult" before they decide if they want to join the team. One should not sign up for the Marines if one is wanting to be a member of the Boy Scouts. A. Our management does not exclusively leave reviews on GlassDoor. In fact, employees of all rank leave reviews on GlassDoor. B. Every Monday and Friday our management team makes itself available to discuss employee pay. C. We do have thousands of customers who call our businesses and we do answer the phone for many businesses on behalf of the clients we service (ShawHomes.com, EITRLounge.com, etc.) and we don't hide that. One would think that when you are shadowing and see dozens of employees on a phone that one would draw the conclusion that we are "call center" or a "center for calls." Phones, people on phones, phones ringing...these are all signs of a call center. D. Management (Me) loves to hire coachable people who are looking for a career and not a job. We have an average employee age north of 30. E. I lead the meetings every week (Clay Clark) and I lead a conference every 2 months and I lead a podcast 9 times per week. If someone is not a good fit I would hope that they could figure this out before applying for the job, or shadowing at the workplace. For a Good Cult Time call my cell phone (which could be considered a "call center" because it is the center of where I receive my calls - 918-851-6920.

Pros

Working at Thrive15 has been the most incredible experience for me. This company gave me a chance to demonstrate my capability and work ethic, and I am deeply grateful for the experience. Every day is filled with motivation and dedication to better myself and grow in my responsibilities and capabilities. I could not have accomplished it on my own without all that this place has taught me.

Cons

Learning may not be for everyone, but I myself do not see this as a con. I love the opportunity and inspiration to learn and embrace all that I do and am continuously taught to accomplish. I have come so far working here at Thrive15, and I embrace every moment. It has caused me to push past my comfort zone and deepen my skills and understanding in ways no other experience has helped me to before.
