Pros

Preface this saying I was a former employee of a MSP that Thrive swallowed without much thought. I joined after that process and the culture was not the same. That being said, some of the employees are helpful and friendly. Benefits are good.

Cons

The management and culture are terrible. very cut throat and demanding. I noticed a change when Thrive continued to purchase/merge with smaller MSPs. Documentation was horrible as was the direction. Too much stress on ticket time in real time, asked to fluff numbers as I was moving through tickets too quickly to justify my 8 hour work day. I requests were completely ignored when I requested to be removed from a volunteer project, and told that it would only be a little longer, This ended up being over 5 more months and my mental health suffered. I received a raise at my annual mark, then I was terminated months later because "they were going in a different direction." I was a fully committed to this company and even trained employs on work flow and time management to assist my own manager with ticket time. They are not clear on direction and many of the high tiered engineers are condescending and do not want to help anyone grow. Do not apply/work here.

Pros

Pay is ok, benefits are good.

Cons

Obsessed with growth rather than supporting current clients. Way behind on technology stack and processes because they are stuck in “their system” rather than advancing with industry standards.
