started out good - went downhill fast after re-organization - Employee Three Rivers Park Employee Review

Pros

Good benefits, vacation, and mission.

Cons

Senior management (including top management) does not care about staff moral or listening to ideas from frontline employees. They would rather pay a consultant to do something than learn something themselves or better yet give employees the opportunity to learn. Unqualified people are "moved" into positions of authority simply because the organization does not want to hire qualified people. The culture changed after re-organization and people now fear for their jobs.

Pros

Loved working with this park. Staff are knowledgeable and positive, and there's always productive work to be done.

Cons

Pay is standard for a seasonal job, but difficult to live on.

Pros

Many available hours to work (if that's your sort of thing). employee food discount and free access to park. manager is understanding and willing to talk things out.

Cons

Most if not all of your coworkers will be inexperienced highschool kids, once they go back to school near the end of the season all available workers will be scheduled to insane shifts. if you're on morning shift you're on your own, in my experience there will be one senior employee on shift at the time doing something else, and they will not help you. no wifi unless you work in maintenance, the data is spotty at best and often times this causes conflict with the app used to clock in. NO TIPS the """tip jar""" is actually a donation bucket that goes to management and park upkeep, have seen my manager and shift leads take money out of it, order food, and then leave :(
