Pros
Good work/life balance. Competitive pay. If you get into the right department, it can be a really fulfilling experience with great leadership.
I have learned a lot working under my senior leader and have a lot of respect for the vision they have for our department and company. Our financial outlook is currently the best it’s ever been (not just looking good on paper). I’m very happy with my experience, and I consistently have had a leader who supports me. Many employees hired in 2020/2021 are long gone, but my department’s average tenure is long because we have a supportive, smart leader.
Cons
Inconsistency across departments. Some departments have poor communication overall, which makes them harder to work with cross-functionally. History of bankruptcy. Previously had a heroes/rockstars mindset, which was frustrating to departments outside of sales.
