Pros

- Interesting, new technologies (however I can't say it about every project) - When working with old Thoughtworkers you can notice a difference, all-rounded in tech, high consultancy skills, soft skills - Nice, polite people to work with, highly motivated and passionate about tech - Good practices taken seriously - Thanks to pairing, as a junior I learned a lot in a relatively short time - Many initiatives related to knowledge sharing in the office (f. ex. lunch&learn every week)

Cons

- Poor work-life balance (in some offices if you don't want to stay on the beach forever you need to take a project in another city), office related activities during the lunch time or after working hours, exhausting TW university - Very high expectations for the salary they offer, ideally you should not only excel technically, but be involved in outside the project initiatives. Those usually require your personal time. - P3 (social-economical justice) is a pure marketing for me. The way they organise is injust already. Since we are staffed 40h on client project there can't be time dedicated for it. Solution? Let's work on them after work, why not. So simple. Oh, and it's not paid. P3 related meetings at the lunch time. - Company’s values are very left-wing. You can’t challenge feminism, LGBT movement, abortion, socialism etc. In that sense there is no freedom of speech.

Pros

I've had a great experience building my career at Thoughtworks. One of the things that stands out most is the culture. It's collaborative, supportive, and filled with people who genuinely want to help each other succeed. Thoughtworks has also provided me with meaningful opportunities for career growth. I've been encouraged to take on new challenges, develop new skills, and explore different career paths. Leaders have been approachable and supportive, and I've always felt empowered to own my development rather than being confined to a single role. Like any organization, we’ve had our ups and downs. But the people and the commitment to continuous learning have remained consistent strengths. If you're looking for a place where you can grow professionally, work with smart and passionate people, and be part of a culture that values collaboration and innovation, Thoughtworks is a great place to build your career.

Cons

None that I can think of right now.
