Pros

You genuinely get trusted early on in the job. Really good to work in a grown up environment. Very established client base - no need for endless lists of business development calls Nice friendly environment

Cons

Nothing note worthy - all round positive.

Pros

Some helpful people in the office.

Cons

Not diverse. Too many men work here. Toxic environment for any woman. Made feel extremely left out at times with this boy-like culture. The pay is way better elsewhere. For the amount of work you do, it is not appreciated. I didn’t realise how bad this place was until I worked elsewhere. No offence to the few nice people. Micro-managed most the time and company culture is border line misogynistic.

Pros

I joined as a graduate researcher in 2010 and left the company after 6 years as an Account Director managing some leading Investment Banking accounts. Of course it was hard work... it's a demanding role and it's competitive but it's also hugely exciting and rewarding. I'm now working in a totally unrelated role but the skills I picked up at TK have been invaluable. My experience there continues to influence my approach to business decisions and client relationships. As a grad, you're hired on your potential and then it's up to you to perform and make the most of it. A former review alludes to high turnover but I think that's true of any recruitment firm and is very much down to the nature of the industry. Although it might not be right for everyone, I really benefited from a lack of micro management and was very much left to find my own way and to develop my own style and approach to the role. Having said that, the directors were always there to support you and offer guidance when needed. Recruitment can often be seen in a negative light but Thomson Keene really stood out to me as an agency that hired conscientious and driven people. Working at Thomson Keene so early in my career also provided me with an ongoing financial security that I will always be hugely grateful for.

Cons

If you're looking for micro management and a structured training programme, this probably isn't quite right for you.
