Pros

Peers and lower level managers are good people that are trying to do the right thing. Salary is competitive within the Charlotte market. Free snacks and drinks.

Cons

CEO and CTO have no clue what they are doing - every decision is based on emotion and not facts. Hiring and firing is completely random - not a week goes by where somebody isn't terminated, usually based again on some emotional decision by the CEO versus any business reason. Unethical practices when it comes to dealing with customers - it worked for a while but now the few customers they have remaining are catching on.

Pros

You are given many opportunities to excel in your career. Everyone supports each other and wants the best for the company.

Cons

Since this is a SaaS company, it has those same challenges that every tech business runs into. If you don't like change, a fast paced environment or helping in whatever way you can to see the company succeed, then you need not apply.

Pros

Working for a company that is constantly in crisis management mode is a good skill builder. However, if this style is maintained for more than three months, then something needs to change.

Cons

Technical debit is unlike anything I have ever seen. They sell much, much more than they can develop. They do not understand why they lose customers. Project Managers, having no say as to how the product is developed, are held accountable for both late deliverables and missing customer-specific requirements. Always seems to be a core group of non-management employees that work 60+ hours a week (consistently) while a majority of others work 40-45 hours per week. Upper management is out of touch with issues tied to the software, and they seem to have a fascination with outsourcing projects that in-house developers can easily handle.
