Pros
As with any company, experiences can vary from team to team. My experience here is limited to engineering. That said, this is my favorite and most rewarding position in over a decade of being a software engineer. - Incredible people - Remote-first company - Unlimited PTO without guilt – time off is strongly encouraged by managers - Some support for additional training and resource materials - Company is continually evolving - Overall company diversity is great compared to all of my past jobs - Support for personal career growth (with a caveat, below)
Cons
- Sometimes the pivots can feel impulsive and unnecessarily disruptive - Communication sometimes falls apart at various levels from the top down - Leadership is still primarily male, though they are aware of this - Sometimes you need to stay on top of management about your personal career goals before action is taken (shift to new team, etc); they DO want to help, but sometimes it falls by the wayside
