The students were usually great to work with. The company does reimburse for gas mileage driving to different locations.
Cons
The people in charge. The frequency with which the center managers change is staggering, and some make it seem like you are there to help them do their job. There is no continuity, no chance to establish a rapport. Right when you think you might be, someone else is sitting in their office the next time you come, with no communication about the change. Speaking of which, communication is generally horrible. I was rarely ever told about any important changes at the centers where I worked. Procedures are different at every center, and often disorganized, making it difficult to do the "right" thing by everyone. You're expected to conform to whatever system the manager at the time feels like putting in place, even if they haven't communicated the system to you. I often felt belittled and chastised for not doing things that I didn't know I was supposed to do. I know about one specific incident that the company kept quiet because it would make them look bad. I found it disrespectful and dishonest.
