Pros

The Chicago team is very small, and they did a decent job of hiring. It is a small but good group in which team members work hard and are team-oriented. Upper management is smart enough to hire only those who are qualified and needed.

Cons

Outside of hiring, upper management is quite clueless. They don't know how to manage projects, lead a team, don't have a technical background, don't have a financial background, don't understand the customers, don't know the industry very well......the founders are clearly wealthy, but don't have much in terms of relevant or meaningful work experience. The combination is predictably disastrous, as they look down upon their employees with condescension indicative of their own insecurity, and are completely lacking in their ability to lead through inspiration and motivation. Needless to say, they also lack anything remotely resembling an inspirational vision. They have a rather commodity product that they don't do a particularly good job of servicing.

Pros

The pay was alright-ish. That's the only good thing I can think of.

Cons

Where do I even start. The level of micromanagement is unbelievable. The CEOs will be reviewing social media images that will get 2 likes after that. The big decisions are made on a whim with no research or logic. In 2024 they still believe in cold calling and not marketing, believe it or not. People come people go with no proper handovers which leads to total mess in all the departments, most people don't even know or understand the company products. Lots of mishires when new people join the company and have no idea what they are doing. Employees across offices are not treated equally. WFH is only granted at some locations and so are salary reviews/increases. I could go on and on. I don't know how they are still afloat if I'm honest. Do yourself a favor – stay away from this company. You can do better.
