No good deed goes unpunished!!! - Store Manager Things Remembered Employee Review

I worked for this company for 10 years as Assistant Manager and then after the Manager was fired in September, I was "promoted" to Store Manager with nothing but high praise. Only to be dumped on the 13th of January. I am not a slacker nor am I afraid of hard work. I was on the starting crew who built this store. I have never run away from my responsibilities, I could have gone to other stores and folded underwear and made $3.00 more per hour but I loved the art of the job and stayed. I was very loyal to my Manager. Sometimes No good deed goes unpunished. How is it logical for a $1400 a day inline store to have the same amount of payroll hours as a $200 a day kiosk? You work single coverage at least 8 hours a day and no breaks!!! The very nature of the job DEMANDS that you spend a great deal of time with your customer, only to be reprimanded for doing so. This company used to have a heart. It has now dried up and died. Fallen to decay of the almighty dollar. There is no one at this company looking out for you. STAY AWAY!!!
