Pros

People are generally wanting to help No egos A lot of infrastructure and services are being overhauled or re-architected so there's an effort in gaining stability

Cons

Project management feels haphazard and confusing. Communication is a struggle - meetings get canceled, the people with knowledge are usually too busy to help, discussions can eat up a lot of time without getting to a resolution, outreach for help is sometimes unanswered. Management doesn't have a good handle on what work is being done or the people doing it in the IT department. Decisions are made at the top and then dictated without buy-in from the people doing the work or maintaining the systems. There's a lack of trust between leads, architects and managers and the regular engineers - agency and decision-making aren't shared. You have to log your time for every hour you worked, every day and submit a time sheet.

Pros

I’ve had a very positive experience working here. Management makes employees feel valued and appreciated, which has stood out to me compared to other companies I’ve worked for. The company also offers an excellent work-life balance, and the pay is decent. Overall, it is a rewarding and supportive place to work.

Cons

No major cons from my experience. There can be occasional busy periods, but the overall work environment and support from management have been positive.

Pros

Great team culture which encourages closely working together and those with more experience teaching and helping new hires. Great healthcare, dental, and 401k benefits Good opportunities for long term careers Work from home allows for flexible schedules and less time and money spent on driving and gas. Teams always open for feedback on how to improve Fun team building exercises which make you feel like part of a family and not just a working team.

Cons

Quickly expanding company means growing pains, shifts to SoA, new hires, refactoring into Angular and simultaneous development of new features can lead to quickly out of date documentation and unexpected issues which block work items.
