Pros

The office is beautiful and most other employees and management are nice. There are a decent amount of company events like parties, bbqs, potlucks. Appears to be a lot of room for growing and it’s encouraging to see a lot internal promotions. Free drinks and snacks. Arcade games, ping pong and other activities available during lunch time. A lot of “social” time both in office and on slack.

Cons

Benefits are not that good. They are advertised as free with no deductible when I started, however last year our plans started including a deductible that was never discussed until implemented. More PTO is needed. We have to wait 5 years for an increase in PTO from 15 to 20 days whereas a lot of tech companies have way more flexibility. Further, it seems internal promotions are mainly out of one department which can be discouraging for those not in that department. Salaries could also stand to be increased to be more competitive, but also to encourage employees to remain motivated to keep up with the demanding workload. Communication from dept to dept could be better.

Pros

I’ve had a very positive experience working here. Management makes employees feel valued and appreciated, which has stood out to me compared to other companies I’ve worked for. The company also offers an excellent work-life balance, and the pay is decent. Overall, it is a rewarding and supportive place to work.

Cons

No major cons from my experience. There can be occasional busy periods, but the overall work environment and support from management have been positive.

Pros

Great team culture which encourages closely working together and those with more experience teaching and helping new hires. Great healthcare, dental, and 401k benefits Good opportunities for long term careers Work from home allows for flexible schedules and less time and money spent on driving and gas. Teams always open for feedback on how to improve Fun team building exercises which make you feel like part of a family and not just a working team.

Cons

Quickly expanding company means growing pains, shifts to SoA, new hires, refactoring into Angular and simultaneous development of new features can lead to quickly out of date documentation and unexpected issues which block work items.
