Pros

The leadership and, especially, the Administrator and Founder of Therapy 2000, truly lead by the highest standards, ethics and values, which is what initially attracted me to this company. I have been especially grateful and amazed with how our organization has responded to the COVID-19 pandemic. They have kept the health and safety of our clients, patients, and families, as well as, us, the employees, at the forefront of every decision that has been made, including, transitioning to Telehealth therapy services early on when we all first learned of the health threat of close personal contact and the importance of social distancing. This happened even before, and while, other pediatric home health agencies chose to continue to provide services in patient homes. Additionally, they have made every effort to provide assistance for lost income and stabilization of wages to all employees affected by low caseloads and lost income due to families' struggles transitioning to Telehealth. The manner in which Therapy 2000 has responded to this life-changing event during the COVID-19 epidemic, has made me, once again, so happy I joined this company and so proud to be a part of this wonderful organization.

Cons

Demands for very lengthy, time consuming and often, burdensome documentation requirements. Although some of this is likely necessary due to continual changes and demands from payor sources, I am hopeful our company may find ways to lessen the burden of the heavy documentation requirements.

Thank you so much for your feedback! From our leadership teams to our fieldstaff therapists all across Texas, we are proud of the way our people have responded to the COVID-19 pandemic. We definitely understand that documentation standards can be challenging. As an agency, it's often difficult to balance the demands of our health plan partners and our own clinical standards -- which result in an extremely low rate of denial -- with the need for efficiency. We've actually launched a team internally to identify ways we can make documentation less burdensome for our valued clinicians.

Pros

Therapy 2000 deeply cares about our patients, our employees, our patients' communities, and the healthcare industry as a whole. We strive for excellence in everything that we do, from providing quality patient care, effectively communicating with customers and community members, creating skilled clinical education and training, to advancing and improving industry standards. The company has a culture of compassion, integrity, excellence, teamwork, and FUN!

Cons

I honestly cannot think of any cons. If an employee has a need or question, management is quick to respond and support them. Therapy 2000 supports and equips its employees for success. There is a strong emphasis on teamwork and family.

Pros

Friendly staff and coworkers, flexible schedule (coordinate with patients on your own vs company), lots of free CEU options, supportive management when they're available, good culture overall.

Cons

Must supply your own toys/therapy tools (no stipend, etc), which can get expensive and take up a lot of space in your vehicle and home. Benefits are very expensive, and there is no pay if client cancels last minute. Can be very difficult to manage actual FT caseload if clients are not very close to each other, may end up traveling a lot depending on patient availability/marketing, etc. Worked FT hours but technically only had PT caseload according to quotas.
