Overworked, poor management, If staff call in sick, staff on shift is expected to stay on (24-36 hour shifts) and when speaking to management, they say it’s your problem and make you ring agencies and try to cover it, whilst on shift!
Thera Group Response
3y
We are disappointed to hear this was your experience of working for Thera. We will feedback your concerns to the local management team, however if you would like to discuss this further please contact us at hradmin@thera.co.uk
Your working schedule and holiday approval are in the hands of your manager, not HR. Get a good manager and you'll be happy. Opportunities for jumping between teams seemed good and there was a lot of people who climbed ranks fairly quickly.
Cons
The decision makers are steering the charity as if it were a private company. This way of operating is limiting opportunities for the organisation and their subsidiaries and having a negative ripple effect on staff.
