Pros

Working at Theator has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. As a small startup in the healthcare industry, Theator has created an exceptional work environment that truly values its employees. The people here are incredibly talented and driven, yet there is a remarkable lack of ego or self-interest. Everyone is genuinely committed to the company’s mission and to supporting one another. The pod system implemented by Theator allows employees to take ownership of their work and make a tangible impact, even in a growing organization. The commitment to professional development is also outstanding. Theator provides ample opportunities for skill-building, training, and career advancement, demonstrating a deep investment in the growth and success of its team. Beyond the work itself, Theator understands the importance of work-life balance. Flexible schedules, generous time off, and remote work options show the company’s dedication to employee well-being. If you’re looking for a fulfilling career in healthcare, I highly recommend considering Theator. The combination of an innovative culture, supportive leadership, and excellent work-life balance makes this startup an exceptional place to work.

Cons

Working at Theator does require a lot of motivation and passion, but it’s incredibly rewarding for those who are up for the challenge. As a small startup in the healthcare industry, Theator moves quickly and everyone is constantly pushing themselves to innovate and improve.

Pros

- Get to work on cutting edge technology and shape the future of surgical care, creating a new category - The people that work at Theator have the most brilliant minds, creating an innovative, fast-based, intellectually stimulating environment. - Autonomy to forge your own path - employees are empowered to try new things, fail fast, learn quickly, and have a lot of ownership and responsibility.

Cons

There are always growing pains as a company scales, and this fast-paced, high-pressure environment demands someone to be adaptable, and work in ambiguity - but viewed all as good things.

Pros

- Leadership sets realistic expectations for employees, not only for workload and KPIs, but also with work/life balance. - The team (it's not a big company, so i mean everyone) is extremely welcoming and tight-knit. Leadership has been great at maintaining and developing relationships between team members despite the remote nature of the US team. - Great benefits, and when they say unlimited PTO they actually mean it, unlike other companies. - Oh, and of course, the product is super cool Overall, great people, cool product, and good culture.

Cons

- It's a startup, which is not a great fit for everyone, things move quickly, job responsibilities can be blurry compared to bigger companies. - Theator is still very much in a learning / growth phase, if you're not interested in experimenting, and taking risks, then you won't like it here. - The tight-knit culture probably lends itself better to some personalities than others. - We have 401k, but no match.
