Pros

- Unlimited PTO - Hybrid work environment - Great parental leave benefits - Great work/life balance - Health/dental coverage is good - 401k match exists, not as great as other tech companies

Cons

- Two reorgs in six months that were terribly executed. The first was branded as a "choose your own adventure" scenario that turned out to be an illusion of choice that tanked morale and productivity. The second reorg (layoff) made things much worse - but don't worry, we got new snacks in the office! - An almost comical lack of transparency. Although I got a good laugh out of the "computer buyback program" being marketed as a perk. - Leadership failing to take any accountability (ironically, a core value) instead pointing the blame on employees for not "executing" (another core value). - Leadership pretends to listen to employee concerns but do not act on it or follow up. The best you get is a 15 min Zoom chat or a haphazard slack saying "don't worry, we're working on it" - Unrealistic performance goals seem to materialize out of thin air - Pay is not competitive, although they've been "working on it" for over a year - Culture has deteriorated completely. The latest attempt to revive it "hey why don't you go out to dinner and I'll foot the bill" - something something something accountability. - Stock options would be exercised at a loss for the majority of employees that are able to do so

Pros

- excellent teammates - benefits were great - nice office - feels like a small company that you get to collaborate with everyone

Cons

- upper management can be suspicious - company moves so fast in so many different directions that it feels overwhelming. - Their performance review system criteria is broken - Some managers may allow personal emotions to influence decisions in ways that can hurt an employee’s career growth.
