Pros

Good creative work you can be proud of. Clever, interesting, friendly people. Always trying to improve processes and learn from mistakes. Open to ideas, regardless of whose they are. Willingness to promote internally. Flexible working.

Cons

Disproportionate pressure on project management team so you'll have to be hardy. Extremely high standards - there's a high turnover in project management team, as many people can't cut it, which can lead to the remainders being over-worked. Pay a little on the low side.

Thanks for your feedback. Since this was posted we re-jigged our project management team, and hired some more people just to make sure we had the right people in the right place. We also looked at how we scheduled work, just to make sure things were fairly spread out evenly, and we’re happy that things have improved in the last eighteen months since you posted. We're proud to be a flexible, inclusive employer, willing to listen and make positive changes. But we're also happy to listen when we didn't quite get things spot on, and do something to put it right.

Pros

Really good work/life balance compared to most creative agencies, extremely talented and smart people, incredible client list for a relatively small shop

Cons

It can get busy, so you need to be a good multi-tasker to work here. But at least you won't get bored...!

Thanks for your positive feedback. It's great to hear that the work we've been doing over the last six months or so is starting to have a positive impact, and it's great to hear that you're feeling part of the team. We've also recently carried out benchmarking of our pay and benefits. We're pleased that we found ourselves to be competitive compared to other small/medium sized businesses in our sector. That doesn't mean we get complacent! We're working hard to make sure everyone understands all the benefits they get working here, and to look at introducing new benefits in the next few months too. We're also bringing in our 'competency framework' (we'll have another better name for it soon, after all we do 'naming' as well...) for our creative and programme management teams, that'll show the visible career path everyone's asked for. It'll show what you need to know and how well you'll need to know it. And we'll give the tools and learning to help you achieve those career ambitions.
