Pros

Central locations, Nice Offices, Flexible Hours. (The pros are few and far between)

Cons

The work project has a high level of turnover rate due to people always leaving or being us to go. On the surface, twp looks very polished, it is not long before you start to realize the cracks within the company. (Both staff and members share the same sentiments) A lot of the operations processes are still being done manually here, instead of spending on technology or software that can help improve the overall operations, it is often spent on expensive furniture. The management team is being run by people who don't seem to know what they are doing. There is no strategy, vision, or transparency, the only strategy is to follow what other co-working operators have done. The management team is all 'Yes Men' to the CEO and often practices double standards from the rest of the employees. There are very limited company benefits here and little to no career progression even though the company is majority owned by CapitaLand, they do not share the same perks. Overall, the experience here has been quite poor.

Pros

As a Community Associate handling both receptionist and admin roles at The Work Project, I get to experience the space from multiple angles. From the front desk, I interact with a diverse mix of professionals—from solo entrepreneurs to corporate teams—and it's fulfilling to support them with workspace needs, meeting room bookings, and day-to-day assistance. The environment is premium yet welcoming, and the office operations are smooth thanks to well-organised systems and supportive management. The work-life balance is one of the highlights—our standard office hours are respected, and the team culture is healthy and collaborative, not overly stressful. Plus, the staff benefits are amazing, which really adds to the sense of being valued. The workspace is designed not just for productivity but also for comfort, making it a great place for both members and staff to thrive.

Cons

As a Community Associate handling both front desk and admin tasks, the role can get quite fast-paced, especially during peak hours or when multiple members need assistance at once. Sometimes you’ll have to juggle several things—calls, walk-ins, event setups, and admin work—all at the same time, which can be mentally tiring. Since we work in a premium environment, there’s a strong emphasis on service standards and appearance, so there’s pressure to always stay polished and professional. Also, being at the reception means less flexibility in moving around—you’re often stationed in one spot for most of the day.
