Pros

Great work environment, with plenty of room for career growth. Benefits include catered meals everyday and discounts within the Hilton Hotel network

Cons

Hospitality job = hospitality hours and it's nearly impossible to plan time off of work. Holidays, weekends and special events usually call for extra mandatory hours

Pros

There is a lot of business corporate parties on the roof that make you a lot of money. It is a fun paced work environment, and all of the managers are always on the floor to help if you get overwhelmed. Even on a bad night you'll always makes a decent amount money.

Cons

Having to wear heels for 10 hours is gruesome. The parties are easy but setting them up is hard work. You're literally lifting and moving big tables, couches, chairs, etc, to set up. Then when it is all over you have to lift and put all of the furniture back to where it belongs. Wearing heels is literally the worst part of the job and can make it unbearable at times.
