Pros

The Post is an extremely well-respected and important organization and it's great to be a part of that. The company has some pretty progressive employee benefits (except their health care), including a COVID bonus, meaningful D&I initiatives, solid pay and and great HR

Cons

Not-so-great health care (super high deductibles that make it hard to do anything but get a dental cleaning and a physical.) 401K matching could be better. Sometimes hard to advocate for growth.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on growth at The Post. We have two programs that help with career advancement- The Leadership Project and The Growth Project. The Leadership Project helps train and support managers and The Growth Project equips all employees with the tools they need to grow their careers at The Post. We hope you're able to tap into both. Pros

Supporting journalism is the one good thing.

Cons

The culture needs improvement, with a strict in-office policy that may not work well for everyone. There also seems to be ongoing challenges with employee retention, which can impact team morale, consistency, and long-term stability. The tech guild and unions made me feel really uncomfortable with coworkers protesting outside the office.
