Pros

There is a unique culture at Trium where personal growth and human development is engrained in what we do. Trium does impactful work and delivers five-star service while also "walking the walk" internally. There is a strong sense of community, an emphasis on challenging yourself and growing professionally, and encouragement and many opportunities to build relationships within the organization. One of my favorite elements is Trium's commitment since the pandemic to a few in-person team offsites each year. It is a special place, and I feel grateful to have found it.

Cons

An area of growth for Trium is in its JEDI (justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion). This is an area Trium is actively working on; however, our team is fairly homogenous and we have a lot of work to do in this area.

Pros

When I was hired, Trium shared five employee promises: (1) Have real impact in the world. (2) Work with people you love. (3) Earn a generous living and be properly rewarded for your contributions. (4) Have the time to focus on family, friends, and community. (5) Experience transformational personal growth and learning... and I thought no way can they actually deliver on all of this. Well, I'm three years in and they are delivering. The hiring process is rigorous, but if you get a chance to join and you're dedicated to your own growth & learning, this is the place to be.

Cons

Onboarding and learning the Trium way of doing things can be nuanced and you have to really take responsibility for your own success in the system. Not everyone succeeds, which can be stressful when you're new. And like any client services, the workload is variable – sometimes more than I feel like I can handle, but other times spacious enough to make up for the very busy times.

Pros

Unique, thoughtful, fun team. We have our quirks across the board, but there's a general sense of commitment to one another and to the success of our company and clients that is very present. While concepts like mindfulness, self-awareness, and company culture are all the rage in business these days - at least in SF - I don't think anyone else is doing work quite like Trium. The combination of business acumen, facilitation/coaching expertise, and personal development experience across the team contributes both to powerful outcomes for our clients and powerful professional and personal growth in our team.

Cons

As a small firm, it can definitely feel like there is always something more to be done and not enough hours in a day. While we value relationship and definitely take time to build it with one another, taking this time often means late nights and early mornings. It can also sometimes feel like there's not enough time for experimentation - we have a strong track record in terms of what works, and so we really have to push ourselves to keep up the innovation.
