Pros

There is honestly no Pros when it comes to this place.

Cons

Extremely toxic staff - Stab you in the back attitude which is promoted by senior roles within the company. They expect you to live for your job and work for your family. Expect calls and emails at ridiculous hours and don't get excited about "Flexible working hours" Because you'll learn quickly that the earlier your in, the longer your kept. There are 100s of reason to avoid this place. Just dont make the mistake i did. Be warned, this company has a serious turn over in staff to a point where 60% of staff who worked there last year no longer do. Over worked and under paid.

Pros

Free car parking Free tea, coffee, fresh fruit Talented, lovely co-workers who would fall over themselves to help you

Cons

Those co-workers have now left. Staff turnover highest I've ever seen - it became a running joke in the office. Managing Director was given lump of coal and copy of a book called 'you're fired' as a secret santa present - says it all. Departures are not discussed by senior management which made staff feel anxious. No action taken to address the issues that caused all these people to leave. No effort made by senior management to recruit new staff to replace leavers which placed insane amount of stress on the remaining staff who ended up doing the work of 2/3 people and were never thanked/compensated in any way. Communication between senior management and staff terrible. At Director-level there are constant admissions to staff and clients that they have no understanding of web design, development or digital marketing - which is embarrassing for a digital agency. Who wants to be part of a team led by senior managers who admit they don't know anything about what they're selling? No support from senior management team and an awful blame culture. Countless instances of directors throwing staff under the bus or blaming staff no longer in the company to defend themselves. This happens in client meetings too which is unprofessional. Senior management never take responsibility for anything and I never felt comfortable raising issues with them because I was worried it would be used against me later on. Rubbish company culture. Staff expected to work weekends and late into the night - there was a company whatsapp group which also had senior members of staff. Texts would be sent asking developers to jump on to projects at 9/10 o clock at night so you felt pressured to the work because the Managing Director could see if you refused to. A lot of staff felt very burnt out and stressed because of the constant expectation placed on them to work whenever senior management wanted them to. This didn't happen on rare occasions when we were working to deadline for big projects. This happened all the time. again could have been avoided if senior management bothered to be hands on and address issues which meant workflows and processes were messy and ineffective and didn't serve the client. No opportunity to progress and develop. they'll tell you there's training opportunities and you can go to digital conferences etc. but they're so understaffed because so many people have left that you will never have the time. A lot of staff didn't even take lunches they'd just eat at their desks and keep on working because they had so much work all the time. Stingy salaries for the work you're doing, no bonuses, often end up doing jobs and taking on responsibilities higher than your pay grade because of the staffing issue. They also end up outsourcing a lot of their work to other agencies because they don't have the hands to do it. A shell company at this stage unless they sort their recruitment out (if you go on the website you can see most staff are account managers there are only 2 designers and 2 digital marketers and 3 developers) Office is grim. Limited natural light, canteen downstairs literally has bars on the windows - considering how long you spend there, no effort made to create a nice or comfortable atmosphere for staff. near an abbattoir in an industrial estate so it always smells outside.

Cons

No support from anyone in senior management Poor communication from senior management No training opportunities The company lacks that edge that is expected from digital agencies Bad client management which leaves the workforce's job more difficult Most of the staff are unhappy so the office could be a pretty miserable environment Isolated location outside of Belfast Dark dreary offices
