Pros

family meal twice a day...unfortunately the food is usually unedible, and will definitely make you sick. Also, they don't care if you're late, EVERYONE always is.

Cons

Well, the "fine dining" is all food from Sysco and is prepared by underpaid international workers. NOT ONE REAL CHEF. There is no requirement for food safety (no food handlers cards, no tips training, etc.) Place is invested with mice, and roaches, and there leaks everywhere, including Grey and black waste water, sometimes leaking directly into the restaurant and to guest rooms. Big one: They will never promote a person of color. They will only hire them for entry level positions.

Pros

The company’s vision and strategic direction are strong. The transformation underway has real potential. Many employees believe in the mission and want to see the organization succeed.

Cons

The primary concern lies with the current Managing Director. In my experience, decision-making at this level does not consistently reflect a balanced or thorough review of facts. There appears to be selective support and favoritism within the organization, which has created visible divisions across teams. Professional boundaries in leadership meetings have also been crossed. Sensitive personnel discussions and internal matters have been addressed in ways that felt inappropriate for the setting and broader audience. This has contributed to discomfort among staff and diminished trust in executive discretion. Additionally, the current HR leadership environment does not feel psychologically safe. Rather than serving as a neutral and protective resource, interactions have left employees — including myself — feeling uneasy about raising legitimate concerns. As a senior-level employee, I do not feel there is a secure or objective channel internally to address these issues. That is deeply concerning at this stage of the company’s growth.
