Pros

It's in the city centre

Cons

Run away as fast as you can. This company doesn't know what they are doing. The management is terrible. If there's any problem with customers, you will be the one getting blamed, and management will not do anything about it. And if you will stand for yourself, they will happily fire you. They can't keep staff, that's why they are looking for someone constantly. Browns brasserie belongs to the Spit Jack If you want days off for specific day, good luck with that. As you are required to work every weekend. The staff food is bad. You have option from 3 types of food and that's it, and it more or less feels like they are giving you a favor to let you even eat their food. Don't you even think about asking for something else. You cant take any drinks at work, except tap water and 1 coffee per day. But if you take more than 1 per day, you might get in to trouble. You will be promised, you will be doing only your job - barista, server etc. Well at the end you will end up doing everything, even kitchen porter as they are not willing to pay for 1 more person to do it. Tips, they are promising 3€per hour, well on good week you can probably get 1,30€ per hour. The tips are given to all the staff once a week. So if you make 150€ on 1 day and you think you will get nice tips from that, you will not. Because to make it "fair" they are distributing the tips by amount of hours you work per week. So your manager will get over 60€ every week, while you will be happy with 30€ You will not get paid for bank holidays or getting extra day off.

Pros

All the FOH and BHO were a real hard workers, supporting each other

Cons

Owner want results but they don’t know what they want. They want you solve the day by day but they don’t have a clear idea about what they are looking for. A poor management and abuse of power. If you are working by contract they force you to work 12 hours per day without extra payment or if you are in a sick leave they manipulate you to back to work calling you in a night time. You can’t have time for your personal life
