Pros

-Team members at the community level work hard and care deeply about residents. -Fast paced environment that offers exposure to multiple responsibilities. -The other management side of the team are exceptional!

Cons

-Lack of transparency from upper management. -No feeling of job security/stability. -Poor communication regarding expectations and performance. -Secrecy and abnormal behavior within the leadership. -Pay does not align with the level of responsibility with this role. -They place very young, fresh out of college professionals, with no experience or ability to manage people. -Leadership does not allow employees to request a role title re-evaluation or increase in compensation. -Retaliation from leadership when employees bring up these issues. -No clear feedback or documentation prior to termination. -Performance expectations were unclear and rarely documented, even as the role expanded far beyond the original scope. Bringing this to leadership’s attention resulted in being singled out rather than supported. After nearly a year of strong performance, I was dismissed with the vague explanation that “it’s just not working out,” with no prior feedback or opportunity to course‑correct. The company promotes itself as a Top Workplace, but the internal communication, transparency, and leadership accountability did not reflect that standard.
