Pros

Nice co-workers, decent pay, lunch cafeteria free.

Cons

The con Is mainly the clients that come in- they get to be rude, dirty, obnoxious sometimes. some clients were fine but then there were the ones who would leave their tissues on the floor, or they would come in sick and get others sick. Another Con is having to pay for parking at the hotel- and it would be more expensive than the surrounding parking buildings some days.

Pros

Tips from customers, B and C list celebrities as clients, free meals, close to hot spots downtown and the lake.

Cons

Poor pay. Bad management. Unpaid labor. No flexibility in schedule, giving up every Friday & Saturday night, No Sundays off for church. Spa is dirty from the floors to the showers. You have to serve alcohol to clients if requested. Paying for parking per shift adds up to $250+ a month. You won’t be able to access cash tips until days/weeks later. Senior employees who are 15+ years senior to you will purposely bully you out. Broken equipment such as tables, electrical outlets, towel cabbies. Front desk staff will book you last minute, seriously last minute as you are walking out the door. Linens run dry constantly. Any perk or discount needs approval. HR is never available. There are cockroaches often in the spa. Avoid for your own health and wellbeing.
