Pros

I love being a facility manager as well as be able to train clients! I enjoy how there's more to this job than just training, I like to stay busy while at work so I enjoy that when I'm done with my clients for the day I have other things to get done as well. I love the team I work with as well as all my co workers from the other studio's :) I LOVE how our company promotes within and give credit where credit is due! This is a very fullfilling job because I get to help others reach their goals and I get to meet SO many amazing people. It's crazy how well you get to know someone just seeing them for 20 mins either once or twice a week but you really get to build a bond with everyone and truly that is what I enjoy the most! I'm very blessed to work for this company and being able to continuously move up in roles over time :) Majority personal training positions you have to do your own marketing as well as have your own insurance to train people and probably pay to "rent" a space in a gym to use their equipment. We don't have to do any of that! Our company provides it all, as well as a 401 k plan and medical and dental as well as sick paid leave and we will be getting PTO soon! GREAT BENEFITS! Oh, and not to mention I get off of work by 2:30 pm everyday! I like how it's a set schedule for mornings (for my specific schedule) I don't have to work around my client's schedules. I have set hours everyday with back to back clients from early morning to mid day and then I'm done! No needing to wake up super early in the morning for client's then having an afternoon break and then needing to go back again in the evening to train evening clients, I really enjoy the set hours!

Cons

Only downfall I'd have to say is that sometimes not all the people that get hired on really take in the information we learn and or don't continue to educate themselves on the anatomy and nutrition and when clients ask for advice, some of the advice can be wrong. Although, that is not the case for majority of the staff we have! Just a few. Also, the pay for some people might not be enough but it is a JOB and it's a no brain-er that you get what you put into this job. There's always ways to make more money, it's just a matter of how hard you're willing to put in the time and effort to get it. If you're motivated and a hard worker you WILL excel in this company. I've only been apart of TPW for little over a year and already got promoted to a facility manager position. Hard work pays off :)

Pros

I work with a truly amazing team. I feel like the company values are in line with my own. I think the executive team is innovative; I also feel they truly listen to individual team members and take into account their experience when making decisions.

Cons

For my role, this is not a particularly high-paying job.
