      Spending time with the animals, taking your breaks

      Cons

      Everything else about the job. Literally everything. Unprofessional staff and owner. Understaffed, so you're doing the work of 2 people on a regular basis. Zero benefits or time off. Not a worthwhile place to work.

      Pros

      Rewarding, provides experience for vet students, it’s all common sense, and staff is nice

      Cons

      You do have to work all holidays and cannot ask off during the busiest times (Summer/December/Thanks Giving Week)

      Lots of hours, if you're smart & can keep up.

      Cons

      SO MANY. The training is comprised of 3 measly videos (putting you at risk when dog fights break out) & the rest is only verbal instructions from a manic-behaving unprofessional on a power trip. Her filing system is ALL on paper....take that in. Nothing digital. & your coworkers? They don't know how to file things alphabetically... TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
