I left this job an anxious mess. I was junior in my role and I was just left to my own devices with no advice, guidance, or appraisals. I had no clue how well I was doing and I had crippling imposter syndrome constantly. I saw multiple female employees get pushed out and treated horribly and I got shouted at in the office in front of everybody for a completely minor mistake that I made as a *junior* employee who at the time had minimal experience, and this didn’t just happen once. There is a huge network of ex employees that are trauma bonded for life because of this job so I guess that could go in the pro list. Work life balance isn’t allowed here, I wasn’t allowed to put an OOO on ever, even when I went on a three week long holiday to another continent.

The very poor treatment within the company will allow you to push on and achieve the next career goal.

1. They overwork people. 2. They don’t recognize contributions and reward good work. 3. They don’t care about their employees. 4. They don’t honor their commitments. 5. They promote the wrong people. 6. They don’t let people pursue their passions. 7. They fail to develop people’s skills. 8. They fail to engage staff creativity. 9. They fail to challenge people intellectually. The organisation knows very little about communications as a whole which is bad for all employees. The organisation had a great reputation 10 years ago and has been nose-diving ever since.
