Pros
I’ve been with Network Group Events for just over a year now and it’s been a really good experience. Coming in as delegate sales I’ve learned a tone and genuinely enjoy the culture. The company has a very entrepreneurial feel – you’re given the chance to take ownership quickly, which has definitely pushed me to grow. Management are supportive and approachable, but they also trust you to run with things and find your own style. Targets are clear, and the tools and training are there to help you hit them, and there’s a real sense of recognition when you do well. The events themselves are really high quality and it makes selling so much easier when you believe in what you’re offering. It’s motivating to see sponsors and delegates coming back year after year and knowing you had a part in making that happen. The team is fairly small and close-knit, so it feels collaborative rather than cut-throat. Culture-wise, it’s professional but not overly corporate – people work hard but there’s always time for a laugh.
Cons
Fast-paced environment isn’t for everyone, but if you’re driven it’s a huge plus
