Pros
Most teachers and administrators at local centers really care about the students and their education. They’re great people and you will learn a lot from each other. Schools are small so you get to know everyone well. You can be creative in your lessons as long as you cover the objectives. Not only will you teach students, but you’ll learn a lot from them as well about their cultures.
Cons
Corporate office is greedy. Pay was never great, but benefits were cut massively over the years. Health insurance was expensive and rarely covered anything. They make demands and armchair policies that don’t always best serve the students, teachers, or staff. They are not receptive to any kind of criticism what so ever. It’s not about education for them, it’s about cash.
