The only notable positives of the experience were the pleasant interactions with colleagues and the 50% discount offered at Ivy stores. Unfortunately, beyond these aspects, there was little else to commend.
Cons
The work environment at The Ivy Asia was highly challenging and, at times, toxic. Compensation was below industry standards, and the workload was unreasonably excessive. Expectations from management were often unrealistic, and the overall treatment of staff was subpar, marked by false promises and a dismissive attitude from the management team. Instances of verbal abuse, including being sworn at, were not uncommon. Additionally, concerns about workplace harassment, including sexual harassment, require urgent attention and resolution. Overall, the experience was deeply disappointing and fell far short of the standards expected from a brand of this reputation.
