Pros

Office location near Baker Street. Friendly colleagues.

Cons

Seemed like a nice place to work but turned out to be the opposite. Micromanaging line manager, extremely heavy workload, it's considered normal to work long hours overtime, toxic positivity, people with toxic behaviors, high turnover - people were just leaving one after another. Unsupportive management, favouritism, highly stressful environment. Very strange experience. Not recommended.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We appreciate the time you took to share your experiences and concerns. We are pleased to hear that you found our office location convenient and enjoyed working with your colleagues. However, we are deeply concerned about the issues you've raised regarding the work environment and management practices. We understand that a micromanaging style and favoritism can negatively impact the work experience. We are committed to providing our managers with ongoing training to ensure they support their teams effectively and foster a positive and inclusive environment. Your feedback about the workload and the expectation of long overtime hours is important to us. We constantly review our workload distribution and hiring needs to ensure a better work-life balance for all employees. We take concerns about toxic positivity and behaviours very seriously. Our managers strive to create a genuinely positive and supportive workplace culture where all employees feel valued and respected. Enhancing employee well-being is a top priority, and we are constantly exploring new initiatives and resources to better support our staff. Thank you again for your feedback. It is instrumental in helping us improve, and we are committed to creating a healthy, supportive, productive workplace. Best regards, Invisible Collection Management

Pros

The Invisible Collection is, without question, a stunning brand. The mission is inspiring and celebrates world class designers. The products are exceptional, the clientele is top tier luxury, and the overall design environment is deeply inspiring.

Cons

Unfortunately, my experience of working inside the company was the complete opposite of the elegant public image it portrays. In my view, the organization operates in a constant state of disarray. The internal culture is tense, confused, and unsupportive. The sales leadership was, in my experience, extremely micromanaging to a degree that made daily work feel stifling. I did not see evidence of clear vision or effective leadership. Instead, the atmosphere felt reactive, controlling, and difficult to work within. It genuinely seemed that every employee was unhappy because of how people were being managed. Goals were often set at unrealistic levels, yet there was no meaningful support or structural guidance to help the team achieve them. Success frequently felt unattainable. Sales leadership held onto the top accounts and sometimes appeared to compete with the sales team for inbound opportunities, which eroded trust. There was also a lot of conversation about employees behind their backs, which created a culture of fear and insecurity. Their direct competitors in New York representing the same designers regularly sell significantly more, often around 30-40% above what our team was expected to deliver. Given the way the business is run internally, this was unfortunately not surprising.
