Pros

- The owners are very kind and really care about their employees - The job is hard work but a lot of fun, allowing for creative problem solving and planning/producing really awesome events - You get what you put into it -- hard work absolutely pays off here!

Cons

- This is definitely a "wears many hats" kind of role and you have to be up for taking whatever comes your way; I personally love it, but if you want something that is very structured, this isn't for you. - You need to be independent and be a go-getter; again, it works great for me but if you need a lot of management and/or instructions this won't work well. You need to be good at managing your own time and work flow.

Pros

I really enjoyed working for this company! I first started as an intern, it didn't cost anything and I learned a ton, but it wasn't paid either. But, I wasn't guaranteed a job after the internship so it wasn't the same thing as training on the job. I had to put in the effort to show I really wanted it and everything worked out - I got offered a job when I finished. It was totally above board, pretty intense, and I learned a lot. I could get a DJ job now anywhere. I really liked how hands-on the owner was - he was super supportive and really made sure I knew what I was doing. The team was OK, the other DJs were cool, MCs were incredibly talented and friendly.

Cons

The days were super long and sometimes I would work three days in a row - I loved doing it but I got pretty tired a couple of times - but those weekends did pay a lot - money was excellent - got tipped over $200 a bunch of times!

Pros

Unique opportunity, Fun events, Nice staff.

Cons

10 hours of unpaid training expected. Owner Kevin refused to negotiate. Lots of company materials are terribly organized and unprofessionally written including many typos and inconsistencies.
