Pros
Great pay, lots of opportunities for development, safe environment to work in, many departments within insurance to get your hands in to grow your skill set and knowledge
Cons
Management is hit or miss depending on the department. Many managers had gotten their position due to their longevity with the company and not thei actual leadership skills. This doesn't make for good managers especially if they do not have good communication skills or depth of knowledge in the department they manage.
