Pros
My experience at Hanover has been excellent. A company who strongly believes in their culture and people. They are clearly working hard across all levels of the operation to deliver the best product and experience to their customer while balancing quality underwriting to protect the future of the company. The company is large enough to offer stability and take appropriate risks but small enough, that as an employee you have the opportunity to help build or improve upon the business. Larger companies make this very difficult to do at all levels. Hanover embraces ideas and feedback.
Cons
This company is continuing to build their infrastructure and talent. They have made great strides in laying a foundation for longevity. Employees need to come in knowing that systems and resource issues that plaque the insurance industry do exist. It's reality but the people here and management support finding a way to do the right thing.
