Pros
If you're not on a project, the work life balance is solid. The company culture (at least within my practice) is cold, so if you'd prefer distance from coworkers, this would be suitable for you. All of the clients we work with have been very collaborative and friendly, so that's a plus.
Cons
The expectations at this company were very confusing. While it's expected that each manager and above is slightly different, the range of experiences I encountered varied significantly, from micromanagers to extremely hands off.
I found the general communication towards junior staff to be condescending, not collaborative at all. There's also no room for development. No coaching or advice at all. I think it's the personalities at the company. They don't seem to care about mentorship, which is unfortunate. It feels like they hire you as a number to get a project done. There are so many improvements that could be made but feedback doesn't get implemented.
