Pros
The principals were nice to work for. Occasional bonuses.
Cons
The administration department was incredibly stressful to work for, and even though I was underpaid, the work was piled on. I was given more and more responsibility, but my pay rate stayed exactly the same. Administrative management would gossip entirely too much for grown adults, and when I had a problem I felt like I couldn’t turn to HR, because the director was close personal friends with my manager. It was a very stressful place to work and the compensation didn’t even make it worthwhile. I was an adult working for a living, but was treated as a child. Also, they forbid working from home, so when my significant other had surgery, I had to use sick days.
